Our Personal Bankers are responsible for building and establishing a full relationship with new and existing customers.  The Personal Banker is personally committed to consistently exceeding customer expectations by being able to meet a broad range of financial service needs and consistently pursuing 100% of every customer’s business.  They are responsible for maintaining FNB Fox Valley’s high quality standards and providing a high level of customer service. In this role, your daily activities would consist of processing transactions efficiently, professionally and accurately. You will also have the responsibility of helping grow the bank by being able to identify customer needs and promoting bank products and services.

Responsibilities:

As a Personal Banker III, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Educating, promoting, selling, and opening bank products and services including DDA and small business accounts
  • Regularly assessing and identifying new and existing customer needs
  • Originate consumer and home equity loans and lines
  • Supports branch retail business development through effective calling efforts (both in person and via telephone)
  • Achieve both individual, branch and bank wide goals
  • Active in the community through volunteer and networking events
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to every customer
  • Accurately and efficiently process banking transactions (i.e.. deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, loan and credit card payments)
  • Accurately maintain and balance teller cash drawer
  • Process daily branch capture, verify accuracy of scanned documents to minimize errors.
  • Adhere to all established policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Actively participate in a positive team environment

Qualifications:

  • NMLS Licensed
  • Minimum of 5 years banking experience
  • New account opening and sales experience required
  • The willingness, desire and motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills for interacting professionally with customers
  • Cash-handling experience required
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and mathematical skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including Saturdays
