Position Summary

The Commercial Servicing Lead will provide daily oversight of the commercial servicing activities with the primary responsibility of ensuring the adequacy and maintenance of core customer data and loan documentation systems. This position is responsible for ensuring the Bank is adequately protected from losses resulting from system & documentation exceptions in loan transactions, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, in accordance with Bank policies, processes and procedures. Identify and initiate enhancements in the quality of commercial loan closing documentation and servicing process workflow that emphasizes continuous improvement and results in high levels of customer service.


  • Oversee daily loan documentation preparation workload for commercial transactions (including large, complex relationships) ensuring highest level of accuracy, consistency and timely completion
  • Provide training and mentoring to current and new commercial servicing staff
  • Assist with task assignments, reviewing work and providing feedback to all servicing team members to ensure workload is completed effectively, efficiently and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee daily loan booking and servicing process of commercial transactions
  • Oversee daily maintenance and ensure accuracy of core data (Fiserv), Loan Documentation, Viewpoint systems
  • Utilize Viewpoint and Fiserv systems to create reports for Management, Board, Individual Responsibility Areas and various committees and regulatory agencies
  • Act as a functional and technical resource to loan officers, commercial servicing staff, other department staff and external customers to address inquires and resolve issues
  • Assist Loan Operations Manager in proactively identifying, establishing, implementing, adhering and updating policy, process procedures and tools for commercial servicing team
  • Assist Loan Operations Manager to motivate and engage commercial servicing team to create a positive work environment and team morale


  • In depth knowledge of Fiserv and Laserpro systems
  • A strong working knowledge of the commercial process
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and 5 years of commercial servicing experience
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
